Tibu's Creator: Nikhil Salvi

As an animation professional with over two decades of experience, I've had the privilege of working on some of Hollywood's biggest productions. But my passion for bringing stories to life through design, communication, and creativity goes far beyond just the glitz and glamour of the movie industry.

From the earliest days of my career, I've been dedicated to mastering the art of animation. After studying Commercial Art and Illustration, I poured my heart and soul into honing my skills and building a career that has taken me to some of the most renowned studios in the world. Along the way, I've been privileged to work on projects like The Golden Compass, Night at the Museum, and Life of Pi, where I was responsible for character animation.

My credentials are ones that very few people achieve in their entire lifetime. I've been part of incredible teams that have received some of the industry's most prestigious awards, including the BAFTA and Academy Awards for Best Visual Effects. But for me, it's never been about the accolades or the recognition – it's always been about doing the best work possible, day in and day out.

Of course, the animation industry is constantly evolving, and I've had to adapt to keep up with the latest trends and technologies. One of the most significant changes in recent years has been the rise of AI-based animation, which has transformed the way we think about the craft. But I'm always up for a challenge, and I've embraced these changes wholeheartedly, exploring new tools and techniques to stay ahead of the curve.

 

For the past decade, I've served as the Creative Director for Magic Elements Studio, which I founded in 2011. During this time, I've managed a diverse team of directors, writers, designers, and more, delivering the highest standard of animation projects seamlessly from concept stage to the final cut. It's been a challenging but incredibly rewarding journey, and I'm grateful for every moment of it.

Now, with Tibu's Animated Series, I'm taking things to the next level. This project represents a coming-of-age for me, as I step out from behind the scenes and into the public eye. It's an exciting opportunity to share my passion for animation with a wider audience and bring a new story to life in a way that's never been done before.

So I'm working incessantly towards creating Tibu's Animated Series, pouring all of my years of experience and expertise into this project.
